This Planet was launched into the Universe by Stephen and Deborah Williams in 2000. Stephen was the founding Technical Director of This Planet and the creator of Venus, Jupiter and Saturn, with Deborah responsible for product development, customer care, sales and marketing. They worked in partnership to develop, evolve and grow This Planet, its products and its customers until Stephen's passing in 2010.
Stephen had a rare combination of great technical skills and ability, and a cheeky charm. He enjoyed laughing and working with customers, who in most cases became friends. Although described as "un-equivalently brilliant" by customers, friends and colleagues, it was Stephen's great sense of humour, a trait he shared with Deborah, that continues to define the personality of This Planet.
Deborah continues to lead This Planet which has evolved and grown to include an extensive team of technical, customer care and training staff. Her focus is to build on customer partnerships across Australia and New Zealand and embody the great technical capability, customer commitment, integrity and sense of fun that is the legacy of Stephen and the foundation of This Planet.
